Justin Thompson

Throughout his time in the military in his early adulthood, Justin Thompson discovered that fitness and performance go hand in hand.

As Justin’s career continued in civil service, he found the importance of integrating strong mental health practices into fitness in order to combat the toll of a high-stress job. In the wake of his retirement, Justin pioneered a pathway for colleagues to follow in his footsteps by prioritizing mental and physical fitness in everyday life.

Currently, Justin is continuing his education in Sports Health. He volunteers his time working as a performance coach for a local high school football program. His love of sports, mindfulness, and wellness has earned him titles of ISSA Certified Personal Trainer and TPI Level 3 Fitness Instructor. Justin is currently working on his golf game like most golfers. He enjoys the blend of physical and mental dedication golf takes in order to get that one perfect shot.

The 5 Pillars of Wellness

More about the Propulsion Method!

  • Mental stress heavily affects physical wellbeing. In order for our bodies to exist in the healthiest way possible, everybody must have a productive way to cope with the ups and downs of life. Wellness begins from the inside of the body, and works outwards, beginning with mental clarity.

  • Food is fuel. Following the theory that wellness begins from the inside, the quantity and quality of the food we put in our bodies is a fundamental part of achieving goals.

  • The human body is not designed to have endless energy. Allowing your body to rest on a consistent schedule does wonders for both physical and mental health.

  • Water makes up anywhere from 55-60% of the human body. It is one of the body’s best defense mechanisms for combatting inflammation. When we don’t give our body more water than it loses, the homeostasis of vitamins and minerals is disturbed, leading to the typical symptoms of dehydration.

  • For some, exercise is synonymous with stress management. For others, exercising can be a daunting task. Justin Thompson believes that it is possible to make exercising enjoyable. Taking a optimistic and personalized approach, Justin works to understand what motivates the each client, and the best way to achieve their goals.
